Chamber Bylaws
The Fort Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce is governed by a set of bylaws, as approved by the Minister of Industry. The bylaws set out procedures and practices for membership, electing the Board of Directors, voting rights and meetings. In short, the bylaws create the overal framework in which the Chamber functions as an organization.

***NOTICE OF PROPOSED BYLAW CHANGES***
In accordance with the current Fort Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce Bylaws, notice was given of proposed changes to the bylaws at the May 4, 2011 general meeting. A vote on the proposed changes of all members in good standing present will be taken at the June 1, 2011 general meeting.
At the June 1, 2011, general meeting, Chamber members in good standing present voted their approval of the proposed changes.
As per the Boards of Trade Act, the new bylaws will not take effect until approval of the federal government has been granted. This webpage will be updated when that approval is received.
