I came to work for Advantage Signs just over a year ago after having been in professional sports administration for over 20 years with the Edmonton Trappers, Eskimos, Oilers, Brickmen and Drillers. I do, however, have a long family history here in the Fort so it feels like I’ve come home. In my capacity at Advantage, I have had the good fortune of meeting and working with local business community leaders. This was helpful to me in 2008 when as a member of the organizing committee for the annual “Business Awards Gala”, I was able to encourage a number of businesses to lend their financial support to our efforts. I look forward to chairing the “25th Annual Awards Gala” committee in 2009 and am also looking forward to working with a youthful and vibrant Chamber executive towards continuing to promote and foster local business initiatives here in the Fort.
