    Event Description:
    Please join us for a Roundtable Discussion focusing on the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) and its effect on Canadian businesses with Members of Parliament Candice Bergen and Garnett Genuis. 

    The Honourable Candice Bergen is a proud Canadian and a lifelong Conservative.  She was first elected as a Conservative MP in 2008 and was re-elected in 2011 and 2015 as Member of Parliament for Portage - Lisgar, Manitoba. Candice currently serves as the Conservative House Leader.  As House Leader, she co-ordinates the Conservative Party's agenda for Parliament, and is at the forefront of holding the Liberal Government to account. Prior to being House Leader, Candice was named as the Shadow Minister for Natural Resources. In this role she worked alongside industry partners to promote and advance Canada`s natural resources industries such as oil, gas and mining.

    Garnett Genuis is the Member of Parliament for Sherwood Park—Fort Saskatchewan and the Deputy Shadow Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Official Opposition. He previously served as Deputy Critic of Human Rights and Religious Freedom. Since his election in 2015, Garnett has developed a reputation as one of the most outspoken Members of Parliament. As the Deputy Shadow Minister of Foreign Affairs, he has drawn attention to international human rights violations and called for a return to Canada’s historic principle-based foreign policy.
