  •  Support Your Fort Scholarship Program Continued!

The Chamber, and First Memorial Riverview Chapel to give out a $500 scholarship to a 2021 Grad as a part of the Support Your Fort initiative

The Fort Saskatchewan & District Chamber of Commerce and First Memorial, Riverview Chapel, are pleased to announce the continuation of the Support Your Fort Scholarship program created in 2020.  This scholarship is for any Fort Saskatchewan resident who has graduated in 2021 and is attending post-secondary  education in the 2021/2022 school year.

“Education is an investment for the future of our community. Knowing that this bursary will make it easier for someone to attend an advanced education program, it ensures a bright future for Fort Saskatchewan and District. That is why I am honoured to provide this bursary now and in the future as a commitment to the community.” says Neil Campbell-Wallwork, Manager of First Memorial, Riverview Chapel.

“Students that graduated in 2021 have seen an incredibly difficult year as they have cycled through in-person and online learning.  It’s to celebrate their efforts and their resilience that the Chamber is thrilled to see this scholarship program continue!” Tamara Dabels, executive director for the Chamber continues.

2021 Scholarship applications are now open, and application forms for the scholarship can be found HERE and are due by October 31, 2021.

If other community or business members would like to contribute to the scholarship fund, please contact Tamara Dabels at tamara@fortsaskchamber.com.
