Jennifer Hillmer | Chartwell Emerald Hills

I am a 25-year veteran in sales management, business development and marketing. My full-time career is with Chartwell - I have the distinct pleasure of working with and supporting seniors and their families navigate the seniors living sector. It's incredibly rewarding and I totally love it. Myth-busting, connecting with industry referral partners and building meaningful community outreach programs is all a part of who I am and what I love. Every day, I get to go to work empowered with the vision of Making People’s Lives Better. In addition to working with Chartwell, my hobby/my passion is my freelance marketing/virtual assistant business and my website, ExploreStrathconaCounty.com.

I am an Aries. Determined, results driven and tenacious. I've been called "bossy", but I prefer "assertive and organized".  I understand that sometimes we just need to dance; I enjoy being kind, inspiring and mentoring people; I am an advocate for local business; and I am still learning new things every day.  I am a mediocre ping-pong player; fantastic bocce ball player; and completely terrible golfer, but love being on the golf course. I am really honored to be a part of the WIB committee and I very much enjoy collaborating with this amazing group to empower female professionals, in whatever form that might take. I have the good fortune of being surrounded by a lot of smart business professionals and kind humans, along with some super talented and empowered women. I recognize that not everyone has that, so it is my pleasure to support others in their journey, however I am able. I also serve as Committee Chair for the WIB Newsletter and Speaker Series - hopefully, you will LOVE what we have planned.
