Katherine Waller, Owner of PSI Industrial-Mechanical

I have lived in Fort Saskatchewan since 2014 when my husband and I relocated our home and business here.  I count myself fortunate to have gotten involved with the Chamber of Commerce quite quickly and have met some amazing people through my role on the Board of Directors.  I become involved with Women In Business when it was still an association and was excited when it became apparent that there was a good fit for it within the Chamber of Commerce.  I served as the Chair of the WIB Committee from 2017-2019 and am the current VP of the Chamber Board of Directors.  I am an owner of PSI Industrial Mechanical and am actively involved in an operational capacity.

PSI Industrial – Mechanical is an industrial mechanical contractor providing mechanical construction, installation, maintenance, technical trouble shooting and custom welding fabrication & piping services to our clients in the oil & gas, mining, pulp & paper, sawmill, oil & gas, transportation and industrial and commercial construction sectors.  Our shop is the big green building on 100 Ave across from the industrial area.

One of the highlights of my year is pulling the Chamber Santa Claus float in the annual Christmas Parade.

Tawnie Misik, Realtor at Royal Lepage Noralta

I was born right here in Fort Saskatchewan, grew up here, and went to school here and Ardrossan. I attended college in Edmonton, and lived here, Edmonton, and St. Albert through my college years. I pride myself on my knowledge of Fort Saskatchewan and surrounding communities, and all their hidden treasures.  After living in Calgary for several years for my husband's position as a first responder and working in the Oil & Gas industry, we relocated back here in 2009. We had several friends also relocating/transferring to the area, and I enjoyed helping familiarize them with this community and the surrounding area. I decided to put my knowledge and enthusiasm to good use, and I left the Oil & Gas industry to follow my passion for the community and real estate, becaming a Realtor in 2011.

I have 2 awesome children, Kohen and Kayla, who are involved with Soccer and Ringette. I am glad to be able to raise them here in such a supportive community with family and friends close by. I pride myself on trying to get involved where I can, making a difference in the community, and supporting the businesses and people that live here.

A successful business woman, Vicky owns Master Cleaners in Sherwood Park and Fort Saskatchewan. She started there as an employee in 1994 and eventually bought the business a decade later. Vicky is a driven and motivated individual. So hold onto your medals tightly athletes, she may just take them over!
