2010 Santa Claus Parade Winners
ATB Financial crowned top float; Midget AAA Rangers best walking entry
The Fort Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce has announced the winning entries in its 18th Annual Santa Claus Parade held Saturday, Nov. 27.

The judges were spread out along the route, marking each entry on Christmas theme, originality, creativity and enthusiasm. Their scores have now been calculated and the winners are:
1st Place: ATB Financial
2nd Place: Kingdom Pets
3rd Place: Fort Saskatchewan Nazarene Church
4th Place: City of Fort Saskatchewan
Best Walking Entry: Fort Saskatchewan Midget AAA Rangers
Over the coming week, each winning entry will be awarded a trophy to proudly display throughout 2011.
“We would like to thank everyone for the hard work they put into each of their entries. Without them, there wouldn’t have been a parade,” said Chamber Executive Director Conal MacMillan. “I would also like to thank everyone who attended the parade and explored downtown afterward. There was definitely no shortage of businesses to visit and activities to enjoy.”
In total, 32 businesses and organizations entered this year’s parade. Last year’s parade had 31.
Following this year's parade, Santa Claus said how much he enjoyed his 18th trip through downtown Fort Saskatchewan, noting how vibrant the kids and their parents were. He also said that he would return for next year's 19th Annual Santa Claus parade to be held Nov. 26, 2011.
