
Colin Fagnan
Executive Director
Stepping in as the new Executive Director of the Chamber in March of 2025, Colin brings a wealth of experience in economic development, stakeholder engagement, and community building. Born and raised in Edmonton within a French-Canadian family, Colin’s diverse background spans government, academia, finance, hospitality, business development, and non-profits, with an international profile that includes work across five countries and two continents.
He holds a Master’s in Canadian Studies (Specializing in Political Science) from the University of Alberta’s Campus Saint-Jean, as well as degrees in Classical Humanities and Analytical Philosophy from institutions in the U.S. His career has been defined by his ability to analyze complex issues, develop strategic recommendations, and foster strong business relationships. In the Fall of 2024 he founded his own business, Nyloc Consulting, and also serves as a volunteer strategic advisor and stakeholder engagement specialist for the European-Canadian Centre for Innovation & Research.
Fluent in multiple languages and passionate about networking and business connections, Colin is excited to lead the Chamber into its next phase of growth and modernization, strengthening the local business community of the Industrial Heartland through collaboration and innovation.

Tanya Shewchuck
Senior Events Coordinator
With over 20 years of experience in the recruiting and employment sectors, Tanya brings exceptional skills in event coordination, stakeholder engagement and community building to her role as Event Coordinator at the Fort Saskatchewan & Lamont Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Her diverse career has spanned roles in program management, guest experience and community outreach, allowing her to develop a keen ability to work with a broad range of individuals and organizations. She has a proven track record of organizing successful events, fostering strong relationships, and ensuring seamless execution. Prior to joining the Chamber, she held leadership roles with Careers Under Construction and the Edmonton EXPO Centre, where she excelled in mentorship, employee development, and event planning.
A results-driven professional, Tanya is known for her advanced communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and dedication to delivering impactful events. Her commitment to mentorship was recognized when she received the 2019 International Women’s Day Award in the Mentorship category. Passionate about strengthening the local business community, she is excited to contribute to the Chamber’s mission of fostering collaboration and growth.

Kaleigh Peddle
Event & Operations Assistant
Kaleigh is an aspiring legal professional with a Bachelor of Arts in Law, Crime, & Justice from the University of Alberta and is currently completing her Paralegal Diploma. With a strong interest in justice, advocacy, and ethical legal practice, her education has strengthened her commitment to contributing meaningfully to equitable and effective legal systems. Born and raised in Lamont, Kaleigh is passionate about supporting and strengthening local communities.Â
Through her academic and professional experiences, she has developed strong critical writing, research, and K-12 curriculum development skills that support her passion for effective communication, organization, and community engagement. Kaleigh also brings several years of experience in event coordination, contributing to the planning and delivery of community-centered initiatives and events.Â
In her role with the Chamber, Kaleigh supports event planning and operations, helping create engaging initiatives that foster community and business connections. She enjoys creating meaningful impacts within communities and is dedicated to contributing through collaboration and advocacy.

Payton Lozinski
Digital Marketing Coordinator
Born and raised in Fort Saskatchewan, Payton Lozinski brings a strong connection to the community and a passion for community building. Having grown up in the region, she brings both local insight and a collaborative approach to her work with the Chamber.
She holds a Bachelor of Professional Arts with a major in Communication Studies from Athabasca University, providing her with a solid foundation in strategic communication, digital marketing, and community engagement. In her role, Payton supports the Chamber’s marketing and outreach efforts, helping to promote events, initiatives, and the diverse businesses that make up the region.
With several years of experience supporting and coordinating events, Payton contributes to the planning and delivery of Chamber events that foster connection and engagement among members. She is committed to strengthening the Chamber’s digital presence and supporting initiatives that enhance visibility, connection, and growth within the business community. Outside the office, Payton enjoys staying active and spending quality time with friends and family.
