We were pleased to welcome MP Garnett Genuis to our Chamber office today for an engaging discussion with members of our Board of Directors on key issues impacting our business community.
Today, at our invitation, MP Garnett Genuis visited our Chamber office to meet with members of our Board of Directors and take part in a productive discussion on several important topics affecting our region.
We would like to sincerely thank MP Genuis for taking time out of his busy schedule to meet with us and answer thoughtful questions from our leadership team.
During the discussion, we spoke about youth unemployment—a topic especially relevant given MP Genuis’ role as Shadow Minister for Jobs—as well as immigration to our region, workforce challenges, and broader economic matters impacting local businesses.
MP Genuis also provided an update regarding the Alberta–Ottawa Memorandum of Understanding, while we had the opportunity to share insights on our Chamber’s recent transformation, continued growth, and strategic direction.
