We were pleased to attend the ribbon cutting for Chamber member Mod Kitchens here in Fort Saskatchewan!
Our Executive Director Colin Fagnan was joined by Board Member Melissa Saretsky to celebrate the official opening alongside Ken Bergmann and the entire Mod Kitchens team. The event was well attended by the City, with Mayor Lisa Makin cutting the ribbon, joined by Councillors Birgit Blizzard, Gale Katchur, Arjun Randhawa, and Allan Wesley.
We’re also excited to share that our next Chamber Mixer will be hosted at Mod Kitchens on May 8th from 3–5pm—tickets are now available!
The Fort Saskatchewan & Lamont County Regional Chamber of Commerce was proud to take part in the official ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the launch of Mod Kitchens, one of our valued members.
The event brought together local businesspeople, elected officials, community members and of course friends and families, to mark this exciting milestone. "Expert Craftsmanship, And Personalised Service", Ken Bergmann and his team welcomed guests into their new space, providing a great opportunity to connect and showcase their work. Attendees also enjoyed refreshments prepared by the Mod Kitchens team, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.
We were especially pleased to see strong representation from the City of Fort Saskatchewan, including Mayor Lisa Makin, who led the ribbon cutting ceremony, alongside Councillors Birgit Blizzard, Gale Katchur, Arjun Randhawa, and Allan Wesley.
Events like this highlight the strength and growth of our local business community, and we’re proud to support our members at every stage of their journey.
Looking ahead, we’re excited to return to Mod Kitchens as the host venue for our upcoming Chamber Mixer on May 8th, 2026, from 3:00–5:00 PM. This event is sponsored by Mod Kitchens in partnership with ERIN (Edmonton Regional Innovation Network), and we encourage members and guests to join us for another great opportunity to connect.
