What an unforgettable weekend! This year's Chamber Christmas Marketplace was nothing short of a tremendous success — and it’s all thanks to our amazing community! A special thank you goes out to our sponsors — Life in the Heartland, Nutrien, and TELUS — for their ongoing support. Their contributions made this event possible!
We were thrilled to welcome approximately 3,200 attendees throughout the weekend. With just under 100 incredible vendors offering a variety of handmade goods, unique gifts, and delicious holiday treats, there was truly something for everyone!
Beyond the shopping and festivities, the generosity of our community shone brightly. We are proud to share that, together with the Fort Saskatchewan Food Bank, we collected approximately 1,200lbs of donated food! The donations will help support families in need this holiday season!
We were also honoured to have Mayor Lisa Makin, Former Mayor Gale Katchur, and Councillor Arjun Randhawa volunteer with us throughout the weekend, as well as multiple members of the Chamber’s new board of directors.
Visitors were able to enjoy some festive performances by the Bach to Pop Fort Saskatchewan Women’s Choir and live music by Sentimental Journey, whose nostalgic Christmas carols added a touch of holiday cheer. And of course, Santa Claus himself paid a visit to help make the Marketplace feel extra special!
Thank you to everyone who shopped local, supported our vendors, donated to the food bank, volunteered, performed, and celebrated with us! The Chamber Christmas Marketplace continues to be a favourite holiday tradition, and we can’t wait to see you again next year!
